Leanne here! I’ve only ever been to 2 concerts in my lifetime, one of them being for my all-time favorite band, A Perfect Circle! IT was freaking amazing. Hosted at the Hollywood Bowl, I sat in the middle of everything. Beers were over-priced, but the show was fantastic. I greatly enjoyed it.
So, I’m curious- what are the best shows you’ve seen? Tell me, in as much detail as you can spare, how great it was? I want to live vicariously through your experience and maybe get some ideas for awesome venues and bands I should look into 🙂

The music and vocals were incredible, and I can’t even imagine how much work went into the production. There were massive marionette puppets and balloons, an actual “brick” wall (which, of course, was blown through), and even a small plane that “flew” across the entire audience. Pink Floyd’s songs tell stories, and those stories were literally and figuratively played out throughout the show.
A close second is Muse. I would see them a thousand times if I could. Again, the production value was insane. I’d say it was just as impressive as The Wall tour, but instead of using incredible props, the use of technology was like nothing I had ever seen before. The light shows and theatrics of choreographed projected images were just as fascinating to watch as the guys themselves, who had 100% energy 100% of the time. Oh, and I know this may sound blasphemous, but Matt Bellamy’s piano rivals Elton John’s. Just sayin’!

I don’t listen to nearly as much Muse as I probably should xDAnonymous

The ones that stick out in my mind are a ZZ Top concert that I went to with my dad where everyone thought that he was Dusty, and a Yellowcard concert with mxpx opening. I went to the same Muse concert that Moxie went to. I wasn’t feeling too swift at the time and there were lots of bright lights disorienting me. But the production of the visual effects for that show were out of this world!
