Written by Wow, talk about a great crowd! This jam session was the 3rd largest we’ve ever had, with 15 attendees! We had first-timers, regulars, and members we hadn’t seen in a while. How do we manage such a large group? Listening, learning, teaching and taking turns. We make room for everyone at the jams and ensure everyone has a chance to play. If you’re not playing your primary instrument, grab a mic or one of our many miscellaneous percussion instruments, or even just hang out and enjoy the music as an audience member! It was incredibly fun and exciting to have such a large and yet cohesive jam session. “Magic or tragic” is how we describe those songs we decide to take a chance on attempting and this whole jam was truly a magical experience. So come on out and find out for yourself what makes people keep coming back!
