Whenever we book a room for a Jam session, we try to make sure that it’s the nice, big Showcase room.
Every so often, we don’t get so lucky, and we end up in a smaller “backup” room. In our opinion, that’s a great energy boost for the music! That was the case for the 9/11 Jam (#279) – except you won’t get to hear much of it. The downside to a smaller room filled with musicians in the groove is that technical difficulties are bound to happen.
Somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd sections of the Jam, power to our recording setup was knocked loose and we didn’t record any audio for the last half of the Jam. Fortunately, we had video footage which captured some of the great moments of the last portion of the Jam, even the viewer requested chord progression posted in the Jam’s live stream comments (if you want to hear a bit of this, check it out in the video)!
Enjoy some of the music from the first half of the Jam, and check out the video for the rest!
